Questions this page gets asked
How is this different from the finder?
The finder returns every word your letters can spell, including the short ones. This returns only the words that use all of them — an anagram in the strict sense.
Does ? work here too?
Yes. A question mark stands for any one letter and still has to be used, so a five-letter rack with one blank returns five-letter words.
Why does a word I know not appear?
This site is built on a public-domain dictionary of 172,823 words and holds no tournament word list. A word can be valid in a club game and absent here, or present here and absent there.
Can I see the ready-made sets?
Yes — 2,102 sets of letters that spell more than one word have a page each, listed under Anagram sets.
